My Favorite Thing at EOTC.

Hello boys and girls,

Today m going to be telling you my favorite thing that I did at ice skating for Education outside the classroom.I really liked how the year fours could join in the with Education outside the classroom. My favorite thing about ice skating that it was really fun and I learnt so much. That was my second time being there so i was really supersized that I could go really fast on my skates. After they turned of the lights and every thing was black then they had colors lights flashing on the ground. It was really cool. The color of the lights looked awesome. Sometimes I would of ran into the wall because I would be going to fast. Some times triped but I stayed up on two feet. It was really fun there at the ice skating ring. 

Facts About Quail island

Biodegrade Plastic

W.A.L.T Design and recreate a food package that will reduce waste. The problem is that China isn't taking are rubbish anymore and we don't have anywhere to put are rubbish. The other problem is that a lot of companies are still making a lot of plastics that are going into are ocean and killing are animals. It also is affecting are environment. We all choose are different plastics that go into are lunchbox and replacing them with biodegraderball plastic or mad out of a different material.

Tie Dying

Hi welcome back to my blog,

Today we are doing are tie dying with Miss T. Miss T is a really fun teacher. For are tie dying we had to get a plane white shirt. Then you will have to get a tool that will spin your shirt. The shirt will look like a circle after then you will have to get rubber bans and put them on the shirt to hold them together. Then you will have to get the colors of die that you want. When you have your colors ready you can start dying. The rubber bands would of made sections if you didn't you wouldn't had did it correctly. So you will die in the sections if you want. Any way this is how your shirt would of looked like in the picture but different color.

EOTC Week

EOTC Week

Hi today I'm going to be talking about EOTC week. All of the year fives and sixes went to EOTC week. I was a year four so I couldn't go but the year fours could go to the last day of EOTC.

For EOTC Week the year fives and sixes all went to quill island. The second place the year fives and sixes was surfing. The 3rd place was Adrenaline Forest.

The two I went to was Alpine ice and Haswall pool. My favorite was probably Alpine ice. It was quite fun and it was a my second time there and I have improved a lot. The thing that i have improved on was going really fast and not falling over. Also at Haswall pool there was a hydra slide it was really fun. I went on the slide three times 2 with my friend and one with myself. We should go sailing, Haswall pool again, Art gallery,Adrenaline forest again.

The Secret Doors

Hi welcome back to my blog,

Today we have been imaging whats behind doors. I have a really long righting. hope you like it.

Once there were freaky doors that nobody new who lived behind them. Someone went over to a door with graffiti on it. He knocked on the door and waited. Then a gang shot out the door with guns and that said “what are you doing here go away loser”. I drove away feeling like a loser because he could me a loser and I think I am a loser.

So then he went to the other door far far away from the gang. That door gates so he went up to the door and he said “this looks like and ordinary door. So he knocked and waited and waited and waited forever so he left but then he hard a door open behind him. So he looked and it was a guy on a wheelchair with mucked up face. The guy on the wheelchair tried to chase after me but he just got in the car in

time before the guy on the wheelchair got me. Then I put my foot on the gas and drove away to the other door.

The other door was brown and was really dirty. He knocked but know was there so he opened the door and it was unlocked to he walked inside and it was really quiet. Then he heard the back door open so he hid and waited. Then he saw to clown feet on the ground next to him then the clown feet moved closer to him then it looked down and saw me. It was a disgusting clown with a knife and I ran out of my spot and ran as fast as I could out the and the clown threw the knife and it just hit him and he got a big cut on his arm he was like “ow ow ow ow” he got in his car drove away as fast as his car could go.

He got to the next door that looked nice and dark blue, with a window on top. He knocked then he saw something looking thru the window he looked nice. Then he opened the door and said “hey what are you doing” I said “I'm just seeing who lives here” He say “oh hi then have a great day bye”. So I drive away to the other door that one seemed normal but I hope the other ones are normal to.

When I arrived at the next door it seemed quite creepy by the looks of it. I knocked on the creepy dark green door. The door started to shake it shaked really hard that the the broke in half. On the other side of the destroyed door was a little girl with red and white clothes. She made a big roar at me and levitated up. She stopped, then she leavatated towards me so ran to the car. I got in the car but then she used the force to pull the car up. Then I realized I had a shotgun in the back seat. So I quickly looked in the back and i saw it. So I quickly grabbed it and broke the window and shot her. She fell on the ground like a piece of paper. The car dropped and it scared me. So i drove away from that door.I will never go near that door again.

The next door looked the best out of all of them. It was a brown door it had a number next to it. The number was 48 the door seemed familiar. So I knocked then this mexican family starting singing at me. Then I noticed that the voice was getting deeper and deeper so I walked back a little. Then they stopped singing and they all pulled something out of the pocket but I didn't know what they had in the pocket. They all pointed a gun at me saying “give us all your money or you are going to die”. I ran back to the car dodging bullets I got in my car they shot my car but I just got away in time.

Information In Are Words

Today for reading we are learning to put information in are words for armistice day.

This is the paragraph I read about Armistice Day.

This is how I re-wrote the paragraph in my own words.

On the 11 of November world war one ended on 11’am in 1918. It is 2018 now and it was 1918 when the war ended so it was exactly 100 years ago.The war took four years and started in 1914.

I have not finished my writing. For are writing we have been describing words and we watched a video and described that. The video was could spy fox.
SPY FOX

For the first time an adorable penguin is going to dive into the to the freezing water in the icy ocean. The penguin slid down a iceberg and splashed into the cold water. The penguins parents were proud. Then a spark of laser struck the iceberg and the penguins parents.

There was visible where Dr Hammer and his sardines live. were planning to rule the world dissolve all the icebergs and flooding the world. Dr Hammer did his vicious laugh “Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha”.

Somewhere on the other side of the world spy fox and lily were having an romantic date in a blaze apartment. When lily was about to give fox his wine, his watch blinked  yellow and it was time for operation.

Then spy fox got in his car that looked ordinary car but it wasn't so ordinary. He got in his car and the wing folded out and traveled to a unknown location were a huge lab was. When he got to the building he tried to look for a way in. he used his spy goggles went and looked where the guards were. Then he saw a vent that he could go through.He grappled up to the roof. The guard saw the grappler but never saw spy fox coming. Spy fox hit the guard with his hands and knocked him out. So spy fox went into the vent.In the vent he saw a opening and peaked through and saw Dr hammer and saw a big screen with a timer.

I think the most important body system is the muscular system.

Firstly, if you don’t have muscles you wouldn’t be able to eat because your muscles make your mouth go up and down.

If you don’t have muscles your heart wouldn't be able to pump because your heart is a muscles.

P3: Counterclaim

Some people might think the muscular system isn’t the most critical system. I think it is because if you don’t have muscles you wouldn’t be able to communicate with others.

P4: Rebuttal

Conclusion

Overall I think that the muscular system is the most critical system because

you need muscles to move and communicate. We should make sure that we
look after our Muscular system by getting fit and not eating junk food. also

drinking milk will help you muscles.

In term four week one we went to Cantabary swim School.

We also went to Cantabary swim school in week two because
 we only go to Cantabary swim school for two weeks then we go swimming in are school pool. I liked swimming i was in the deep end wich I liked. Also that would of been my second time going in the deep pool. when we first hopped in it was so cold but then we got used to it. I learnt a lot of thing about swimming at Cantabary swim school. We learnt how to frrestyle and back strokes and a lot of other thing.

What is a Fraction?

This story is about Paikea and the whale,  There was a chief called uenuki he had 71 sons. seventy of these were chiefs there mothers were a noble birth had uenuki had only one wife his wife was his slave. uenuki son was not importance. then uenuki wanted to build a canoe. uenuki's sons cut a tall tree down.  then Ruatapu was ambushed and ran away.

body systems

Hi guys welcome to my blog today we are leaning about body systems. I have been working on body systems. My first experiment was baking soda with vinegar in a cup. When we put them together the entire thing rises up just stops at the top of the cup. The second thing we did we got a drink bottle and drank it or tip it out to halfway. then we we put salt, sugar, Cheerios, Liquorice, marshmallows that is the circulatory system. The marshmallows where the white blood cells and the cheerios where the red blood cells because there was red food coloring on it. Last but not leas the Liquorice was the platelets.

Here are three facts I have learnt so far about the eye.

When you look at the sun your pupil get smaller but when you look into the moon it gets bigger.

The cornea is also curved and helps to create a sharp image.

At the back of the eye is a jelly like fluid that gives the eye its shape.

I think they wrote this book because they wanted to make kids learn about the eye.

Basketball

Hi guys welcome back to a basketball blog post

This term we have been doing basketball only for the people that choose to do it. I love playing basketball cause its a pretty call sport. we have won all are games except for a basketball game that was Hornby vs Hornby that game was pretty hard. The score was 7/15 I think. The other games were pretty easy the first game we had we won. The second game we won by one the score was 10/11.

Digital ignition

This term we did digital ignition we did three weeks doing this it really fun the first session we made paper planes I didn't know how to make one so my friend Bryce helped me. On are second session we went the and did Maui catching the sun in groups. On are third session we did another thing on the iPad's we helping the environment. We the iPad's we did scratch jr. I like scratch jr just cause we can do animations.

I chose the Therepod cause its fast and it has good eyesight. Also they have strong legs and there light. They Have sharp slicing teeth. They are really good at running too.

Genius hour scratch coding

In Genies hour we have groups. The groups are sewing, scratch coding, drawing, Lego stop motion, Lego construction and construction. I m in scratch coding scratch coding is a game where you can make your own game. Its really fun its pretty hard first but then you will get used to it and know what to do.

My Diorama

This term I've been working with my friend Elias to create a diorama of a Tongan village. We used clay, sand, little sticks, ice block sticks, blue paper and yellow paper and also a box. We used tape and glue to hold the building and the blue paper together. we used so much materials for this

It was really fun we had about 7 weeks to build this. 

Cross Country

Hi guys. This week we had cross country it was kinda fun. It was at Kyle park.

 The year 6 people had to go around the BMX track. The rest of the people didn't have to go around BMX track. there was year groups i was in year 4 cause i am a year 4. A lot of people past me but i caught back up to them. I think i cam 8th. I was very nerves I had the stitch a lot of times.

The year 4 girls went first to race then the year 4 boy.  when we started I was in first for a little but then I started getting the stitch so I slowed down. I was jogging a lot of times. When I was jogging my friend Renz was right next to me. We stayed next to each other when I saw the finish line i was still next to Renz we finish together but i just beat him.

When the year for boys and girls finished we had to wait forever for the other classrooms to finish. It was so cold and boring. When the year ones went they had to go around a short way cause they are little kids and the year twos went the same way as the year ones.
