Sleep and Exercise

 Hello boys and Girls,

Today I will be telling you about good sleep and exercise. You should get about 10 to 8 hours of sleep. To get a good sleep you need to have a comfy bed and be warm. Sometimes have a Milo or read a book, Brush your teeth.

Doing really good exercise can reduce you getting heart disease.

 When your exercising the heat from ur muscles will make u feel warmer.

You can play lots of sports to keep ur fitness up. If you do exercise every day all the activities that u do will be easier. You can do 20 situps every night before bed. if u do sports every day that is really good for ur body.

HHS 2021

HHS 2021,

Today I will be telling you all about Hornby High. Firstly we have heeps of subjects to pick from lie Japanese where you learn Japanese words and play fun Japanese games. There is also Science, Woodtech and lots more that I forgot that we have. We have lots of sports to do for winter.

The sports that we do are Football, Rugby/Rippa, Netball, and Hockey. I did Rippa which was quite fun. So many people picked it so we had to have 4 teams. We played like 7 games versing other schools and our on school. We also played basketball. There were 3 teams and I played in one of them. It was pretty fun and I enjoyed playing sports at Hornby high school.

For any newcomers that are coming next year, I think this is a decent school to go to but it does get quite boring sometimes.

100 Word Challenge

Whoosh a flame bursts up and lights up an entire bush in flames. It spreads fast and most of the animals run for their life. Firefighters arrive and spray water all over the fire but it just keeps spreading, getting bigger by the second. More firemen arrive and shoot water out of their massive hoses. Animals run to safety as the firefighter gets close to the fire. It burns, tries everything in its way, and engulfs a tree. It's like hell just came out of the ground. From a distance, it would look like the sun and be so blinding.

1. samples 1-9

2. blindfold glasses

3. recording chart

4. ice cream stick taster

Method,

1. get safety glasses and make a blindfold.

2. set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with know where to record your response.

3. using an ice cream stick you will dip it into the sample. Once the sample is on the stick you will taste it and tell your partner your response.

4. there will be 2 answers.

5. at taste test one you need to hold your nose

6. Repeat this for the next samples but you will only need to use your ice cream stick taster for samples 1-4.

Holiday

 Hello boys and girls,

In the first week of my holidays I mostly just played on my playstation playing rocket league and fortnite. I was just at home with my sister while my parents were at work. it was honestly pretty chill. I got bored sometimes so I would watch movies or youtube. 

Then on Friday was when my step brother and sister came to stay with us for a week. Me and my step brother shared a room and we would sometimes play minecraft or just play playstion together. It was honeslty pretty boring but I somehow got myself a little entertained. Then the holiday ended unfortunately.

This week we have been making a branf for our market day coming up this term. We have decied to sell different flavers of lemanade This week we had to make the name and make the logo. We also had to pick the colours we were using and pick Words or phrases that go with our product. We have finished our logo, here it is.
