Packaging Problem

Hello boys and girls 

For Math's time we were doing a problem. Lunch club needs a package and they needed us to make packages for them. We went in buddies I was with Angus. We made packages out of paper. We made a couple.  After we had made our nets for the shapes we had to work out how long it would take to make different amounts.

My holiday

In the holidays I went to the basketball semi final and the grand final. There were two semi finals there was the Rams vs the Hawks and the Sharks vs the Saints. We went and saw a little bit of the Sharks vs the Saints but we mostly watched the Rams vs Hawks, which started at six thirty. The Rams got a big lead but then the Hawks came back and won the game. The Saints won versing the Sharks so that meant the Saints vs the Hawks in the grand final. Hawks had a giant lead but then Saints had a giant come back and the Saints won.

Zones Basketball

Hello boys and girls,
On Tuesday I went to a basketball Tournament at Pioneer Stadium. We played six games and tied 2, won three and lost one. If we had not tied on our last game we would have went to centrals. Our first game we won. I didn't know the score. The second game we won and I didn't know the score again. The third game we won and fourth game we versed Fenddleton and we tied. The game after we versed Middleton and lost. The last game we obviously tied.

Centipedes and Millipedes

Hello boys and girls,

The Tui reading group  have been learning about centipedes and a little bit of millipedes. We had to make a slide show about centipedes and millipedes we had to write stuff that was different. We also had to make a centipede and millipede. We had to write what was a differences about a centipede and millipede.

Skiing

Hello boys and girls,

In the weekend I went to Mt Hutt with my friend Jacob. We woke up at five and I was so tired. We drove and it was a 2 hour drive. When we got there me and Jacob's sister Stacey went into the line straight away. Then we got our skiing gear and we went to the car. I got dressed into my Skiing gear. Then we went to the skiing area. Stacey told me how to take the ski off and on and it was easy. The first slope we went down it wasn't that steep. To get up you could have walked or gone on the magic carpet which is a escalator that goes up the hill. When I got to the top it looked kind of high. Stacey told me how to stop and it is called the pizza. The pizza is when you fold your legs in.When I went down I tried to stop and it slowed down a little.

Custard Creams

Hello boys and girls,
Today we made custard creams from the book called Fing. We made custard creams with our buddy. First we had to wash our hand then make cookie dough. We made the cookie dough into balls. We had 2 balls and then we flattened the cookie dough. Then we got shape cutter and cut the dough with the cutters. We took off the extra dough on the side. We could have used the extra dough to make another cookie but me and my buddy didn't. Then we gave them to the teacher and they cooked them. When they were done we put the custard on the cookie and ate it.

Rippa

Hello boys and girls.

On Tuesday we played Rippa at English park. There were five girls and five boys and I was one of the boys. There was Rocky, Quaid, Sam, Truby, Temera, Neveah, Michaela Alyssa and me. We played four games. We won three but lost one. Sam got a try in every game. I got one try and that was the last game. The first game was a win but the second game we lost. The two other games were a win. I scored my try because Truby passed me the ball and I ran around everyone and scored the try!
