cyclone Gita NZ

On Tuesday and Wednesday a cyclone hit Tonga and New Zealand. It got to Christchurch but It wasn't bad in Christchurch it was just raining hard.

I was worried that my house was going to get damaged form the winds. There was wind but it wasn't hard wind, it was just a light wind. The rain made a lot of flooding in some areas. Some areas the roads got closed. In Wellington there was hard wind. It was raining hard in Wellington too. In Wellington some people lost power cause a power line fell onto the ground.

In Tonga they had really strong winds and it rained hard there as well. Tonga was the worst place to get hit by the Cyclone.

I am glad that no families got hurt in Christchurch and that no houses got damaged. Christchurch is lucky that we didn't get strong winds.

1 week off school

Today my class saw Elgregoe. Elgregoe is a magician.                                   

Elgregoe is very cool magician. He did a lot of cool things. A person called mason floated in the air. It was very cool. Then Elgregoe put his arm throw a mirror. There were some funny parts. Then Alissa from room three went up and Elgregoe gave her a small wand and waved it over a box but nothing happened so they had to get a bigger wand. So then they got a 2x the size of the medium wand. Then they waved it over the box but nothing happened. So the got a even bigger wand and waved it over the box but nothing still happened. Then they got a really big wand but still didn't work. So the got a huge wand and it worked. Then a bird appeared in the box it was really cool. Then he popped a blown and a the popped blown turned into a white bird.
