This story is about Paikea and the whale,  There was a chief called uenuki he had 71 sons. seventy of these were chiefs there mothers were a noble birth had uenuki had only one wife his wife was his slave. uenuki son was not importance. then uenuki wanted to build a canoe. uenuki's sons cut a tall tree down.  then Ruatapu was ambushed and ran away.

body systems

Hi guys welcome to my blog today we are leaning about body systems. I have been working on body systems. My first experiment was baking soda with vinegar in a cup. When we put them together the entire thing rises up just stops at the top of the cup. The second thing we did we got a drink bottle and drank it or tip it out to halfway. then we we put salt, sugar, Cheerios, Liquorice, marshmallows that is the circulatory system. The marshmallows where the white blood cells and the cheerios where the red blood cells because there was red food coloring on it. Last but not leas the Liquorice was the platelets.

Here are three facts I have learnt so far about the eye.

When you look at the sun your pupil get smaller but when you look into the moon it gets bigger.

The cornea is also curved and helps to create a sharp image.

At the back of the eye is a jelly like fluid that gives the eye its shape.

I think they wrote this book because they wanted to make kids learn about the eye.

Basketball

Hi guys welcome back to a basketball blog post

This term we have been doing basketball only for the people that choose to do it. I love playing basketball cause its a pretty call sport. we have won all are games except for a basketball game that was Hornby vs Hornby that game was pretty hard. The score was 7/15 I think. The other games were pretty easy the first game we had we won. The second game we won by one the score was 10/11.

This term we did digital ignition we did three weeks doing this it really fun the first session we made paper planes I didn't know how to make one so my friend Bryce helped me. On are second session we went the and did Maui catching the sun in groups. On are third session we did another thing on the iPad's we helping the environment. We the iPad's we did scratch jr. I like scratch jr just cause we can do animations.

W.A.L.T Which dinosaur do you think would of lived the best in New Zealand The dinosaur I think lived the best in New Zealand is the Therepod. I chose the Therepod cause its fast and it has good eyesight. Also they have strong legs and there light. They Have sharp slicing teeth. They are really good at running too.

Genius hour scratch coding

In Genies hour we have groups. The groups are sewing, scratch coding, drawing, Lego stop motion, Lego construction and construction. I m in scratch coding scratch coding is a game where you can make your own game. Its really fun its pretty hard first but then you will get used to it and know what to do.
