Rugby Zones 2020

Hello Boys and Girls,

On Wednesday We had Rugby zones, We went to Hagley park where the Rugby Fields are. There were 3 teams. Fendalton and Burnside. Middleton grange school was supposed to be there but there weren't. So we played 2 games. We versed Fendalton first. I scored 2 try's in that game.

 The first try that I scored was that I had the ball and did a dumby and the defender fell for it so there was a big gap and I ran through it and scored. The second try was actually was pretty good. I passed the ball to Taimana. He stepped inside. As he was getting tackled he popped the ball to me. The defender in front of me looked in one direction and didn't see me. He looked in the other and saw me so he started running towards me but I fended him and spun around and the try line was right there and I scored.

 The second game was kinda boring. I scored the same way like to the last try I scored I dumbied and had lots of space and scored.

League Practise

Hello boys and girls,

On Wednesday this week we had league practise for school. A league tournament was coming so that is why we are practising for it. We had a trainer and his name is Dom. I'm not sure If I spelt it right. He was telling how to grip the ball and pass it properly. He put us in lines four lines. He put balls next to cones. We had to pick it up and bring it to the next cone and we had to do that twice. Then every body in every line had to stand on the cones and we had to pass until we got to the end. When you are at the end you have to run to the starting cone. And everybody moves one cone. The after we played octopus, It was fun.
